Est. 2014
Eric & Kelly Chorley had always dreamed of opening their own restaurant. On Memorial Day of 2014, that dream became a reality when the Chorley family opened Blue Caribou Cafe for all-day breakfast, coffee, and ice cream. However, owning and operating a restaurant was not just a two-person job; it required a team effort, but the Chorley family was prepared. Their five children joined them, as well as many other staff members that truly make it a family business! Blue Caribou Cafe quickly became a local and tourist favorite, serving the best ice cream (Moomers), specialty coffee drinks made with locally roasted Roaster Jack Coffee, and delicious homemade meals from breakfast to dinner. As the restaurant became more popular, the name and logo became an "issue." In 2016, Blue Caribou Cafe changed its name to Ursa Major Bistro.
